The NetCube service is a unique multimedia system consisting of an integrated playback unit and media program which together handle all audio/video/text communication with the customer at the client’s location. Connecting the NetCube unit to the Internet enables the client to tune in any NetCube channel.

Clients can choose a music channel and define playing times for each retail location the music is to be streamed to. The playback unit can be connected to an existing sound system (amplifier and speakers), or by using the built-in 200W digital amplifier, directly to a set of speakers. The NetCube unit plays a continuous stream of music streamed from the server. Clients can further define playback times for their own audio spots (e.g. advertising); NetCube automatically switches to the spot and returns to the music feed when the spot finishes. Selecting spots and setting play times for the whole network of retail locations is easy to do.

Video spots and slideshows, with or without sound, can also be played back independent of the music feed. Setting up video spots is just as easy as setting up audio spots.

Last but not least, running text can be displayed fully independently of the music feed, audio and video spots, enabling flexible, spontaneous, realtime communication with customers.

All playback functions are completely controlled by the client and under normal conditions audio and video signals are completely error-free.
